Xeon - no overclock. I5 4670k - overclock. That's how I see it. Also prodigy is not that small dude.

But then you don't need a cooler and z87 board with xeon, you could run stock cooler, get b85, 550w power supply, less fans and then you might fit 770 into that budget.

i got the cooler mostly for looks, and why b85 when h87 is fine, 750 watt psu is for future proofing and sli, and i like the fans, they are glowy :rolleyes:

If you're doing light editing and streaming, an FX 6300 would be fine. 

If you want to go the Intel route, pretty much any i5. You don't need anything higher than that. 

i wouldnt go the fx route just for  the lack of quality matx mobos

Im pretty sure turning off hyperthreading actually makes the performance better in bf4, plus, my rig costs about the same as yours and its a 780, it will crush bf4 on ultra. A 760 cant do much on ultra.

ok, you find me a build with an i7 (since youre so fond of it) a 780, the peripherals i have chosen and quality parts for 1400$-1500$ dollars
