I need help with an optiplex upgrade

Hi, everyone, I have a slight problem. I'm on a really tight budget and need a pc. I want to buy an optiplex (the SFF 3010 with an i5) and add a graphics card (gtx 1650) and more RAM. However, down the line, I want to change all of it's components into new, good stuff and leave the case to make it a bit of a sleeper, so here is my question: will that be possible? I know it would with a standard sized one, but i prefer the SFF asthetic, plus they're cheaper so I could get a better monitor or something.

Thanks for the replies in advance.

By the way this is my first forum post ever, so it may not be done as is normal here.

You won't fit modern parts in that case. Motherboard is very likely proprietary, as is PSU. Cooling probably won't be good. You'll probably have to rewire front panel stuff since it likely doesn't use standard connectors.

Point is, not worth it.

Quote me to see my reply!

I wanted to completely change it with a flex ATX PSU and a small AMD motherboard. But the rewiring stuff scares me. Thanks

This is a horrible idea.

Dell Optiplex towers are good for simple upgrades (e.g. add a graphics card, add an SSD, add some more RAM) but what you're describing may be sophisticated and is frankly not a great idea.
