GPU downclocking automatically (riser cable problem?)

Hi guys!

I have a riser cable installed and my graphics card is downclocking to 135 MHz xD The temps jump up and it clocks normal if I open the browser or anything...

For a short time, I was able to run a benchmark where it performed slightly worse than normal. What can I try?

It is a power saving feature. What are the temps during load? What do you mean it crashes?

I've run the benchmark again, didn't crash. Earlier it sometimes freezed, no signal, signal again, blue screen, BSoD. I also heard the "unplug" sound that plays when I unplug my mouse... Temps up to 97°C and then jumps down to 30°C in like two seconds.

97?? Whoah there... Okay.. what card is it? What were the temps when you mounted it normally? How much distance do you think does it have to the side panel? Remember the card has to suck in air, if it's squished into the panel it will not be able to pull the air it needs. That's a common problem with vertical mounting.

80°C at absolute max. Custom case

Okay.. I like what you did there, the video card should have breathing space. Those two fans with grills below the PSU, are they intake fans? I can't see why your GPU get so hot, maybe airflow? Did you make a custom fan profile?

97c is too much. so the fans are spinning? what speed are they spinning? try without the riser cable
