Good day!

My friend is asking for help in making a productivity PC.

He's an architecture student and most of his work will be modeling, rendering, and some video editing stuff.

The cpu i recommended was a R7 2700(for price to performance) and i was wondering on this scenario, what is a better choice for a gpu?

A brand new RX 5700xt or a used GTX 1080ti for almost the same price?

Thanks in advance!

the 1080 ti will be slightly better in performance and it has 3gb more vram so go with 1080 ti

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

honestly, some video editing and modeling software can be real picky about amd cpus, so i'd recommend looking at puget's benchmarks and making your decision off of that
