logitech g305

So the logitech reddit was completely useless, I really hope to get an answer here because so far I've loved the mouse except for these two issues I have.

 

I recently bought G305 and installed the driver. Everything has been going well for the first week and now 2 things are happening:

1.  When I left click somewhere on a webpage it would highlight everything, happens every so often.
2.  My camera in game would randomly start spinning.

I cleaned my mousepad, I used dust remove spray in the sensor to try to remove whatever dust i'd have.

How can I fix these issues?

Do you use the cable to put the dongle as close as possible to the mouse or is it directly plugged in the computer ?

Hmm the wireless connector is plugged into my PC, it never came with a cable that connects the mouse to the computer.

it's supposed to come with a cable to put your dongle in so it can be closer to the mouse and avoid interference.  The mouse itself doesn't plug directly into the pc as it doesn't have any port on it.

the G305 doesnt give you a cable in the box

Then I must've bought a 100% wireless one that has this small usb stick that you plug into your computer. I'll plug it in the back of my tower instead of the side maybe that'll help.

That's what I got with my g305, the usb extension cable is made so you can put the adapter the closest as possible to the mouse.
