Greetings everyone,

Yesterday i setup my new casing thermaltake V200 RGB with Sapphire RX 5700XT Nitro+ in Ryzen 5 3600 with Alseye ST-90 air cooler with 6 Cooper heat pipes (pic attached) on Asus B450m-plus motherboard, Gskill TridentZ RGB 3200mhz 32Gb, 530w thermaltake modular PSU with Windows 10 running on Hikvision C2000R 512Gb m.2 ssd. Before i address main issue here's my previous setup.

Previously this pc was running without any issues on Cooler Master Case(don't remember model) and with Maxsun RX580 2048SP Big Mac Plus 8Gb GPU and rest of configuration was same. After setting up new casing and GPU i added 2 more 120mm fans in casing on top vents but I'm facing cpu heating issue upto 85° in games (Resident Evil 3 remake & Metro Exodus ) running on 2K and 4K settings. I've applied thermal paste(i used Arctic MX-4 previously using same thermal paste without any issues) while setting up new case several times but it wasn't worth doing it. Do i have to switch to water cooler or i get AMD's recommended thermal paste ?

Second concern is on Idle RX 5700XT gpu fans remains off and as game starts fan starts working is it normal or psu issue?

My apology for long post 🙂

I hope everyone is safe during COVID-19.

Already did it several times last readings were around 79°. Here's 1 snap i took yesterday

What was the Cooler Master case you had before?

It might have better airflow THAN your NEW Thermaltake V200...because it has a GIANT solid clear panel over the front fans, restricting airflow to Neptune and back.

Take the side panel off, and see what the temperatures are like.

Only fresh air going to the front fans are the TINY ventilation on the side of the case...

Removed front panel and getting 1° less temperature. Did cpu stress testing and getting 77° on full load with 7mins duration of load. IMG_20200518_033206.thumb.jpg.c7f0e5cbd0b355b0d2d45e275148350e.jpg
