Ryzen 3 3300x motherboard help

I’m planning on getting a Ryzen 3 3300x CPU but I’m confused with compatible motherboards that will not require a bios update. This is my first PC and so I do not have another CPU to install the bios updates for a motherboard. My question is if there any semi-budget (£70-100) motherboards that will not require a bios update out of the box? Thanks

You can get a loaner chip from AMD to upgrade the bois.

 

Also, can anyone tell me if 3300x will be compatible out of the box with B450? I assume it needs a bios flash?

It depends, some b450 motherboard come updated from the factory (like the b450 MAX series from MSI). I'll wait for new B550 motherboards coming out next month, that will natively support ryzen 3000.

can't we use flash bios button , is there any update available , and if not when will it be available?
