I just received the blue screen VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE while running a fairly heavy game, (Doom Eternal). Last week I was receiving similar problems getting VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL and VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR. I thought I fixed the problem after reinstalling my gpu drivers. I dont know what to do now I may just try reinstalling my drivers again.

Using Gtx 1060 (mobile)- laptop

The GPU might have shit the bed. If that's the case, replacing it is your only option, assuming you have that kind of laptop that allows you to. You can try reinstalling the operating system, but I doubt it will work.

I don't think its a hardware issue bc i got this laptop not even a year ago and theres no reason the gpu would suddenly fry itself

🤔 Well, Ideally, it shouldn't, but computers are real fickle, pieces of doo doo butter. It will find a reason to give you shit when it shouldn't be. One error message pertaining to your GPU is one thing, but three different ones is another thing entirely. It shouldn't be doing that if the GPU was really in pristine condition. You already reinstalling the drivers only makes this being more hardware related even more likely. Have you tried updating the bios? That's really the only thing I can think of at the moment other than reinstalling the operating system just to ensure the system's registry gets a clean slate. Error messages about display drivers not functioning as they should only tells you that there is a problem pertaining to your display adapter. It either could be hardware or software related.
