My system was running fine. I tried connecting my mouse to the system and it shut off. Now my system won't post. Everything powers on, including the mobo, graphics card fans, aio cooler. This is very odd. I'm sure I'll have to go through the steps for a system not posting. Has this ever happened to somebody. About 20 minutes ago, I connected a usb header extension. Could it be my PSU? It is a crappy 700w thermaltake one I had to buy at best buy because Corsais is taking three weeks to ship my new PSU.

Specs? Mouse? What happens without the mouse?

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help

Still doesn't post without the mouse. I currently only have my display port connected, no peripherals. I also added some info to the original post. However, my motherboard is different. It is the ASUS Prime P. Also, Aio is H100i platinum.

Follow the "No post" steps that are pinned at the top of the troubleshooting fourm. Let me know if it still doesn't work after that.

Every step that I have the ability to do has been exhausted. Still won't post. I technically have enough components to try my GPU in another system; however, I would like to save that for last resort. System still powers up.

Nevermind, I forgot, I threw out my intel CPU cooler, smh.

Edit: Well, I'm pretty sure a USB shorted my system and fried my motherboard. So annoyed.

If you can, try and test your GPU in another system. You could just RMA your motherboard / return it.

That is the plan. It sucks because almost every X570 board is out of stock. More particularly, I need a white one.
