Is my computer vulnerable?

We're learning about netstat in my CompTIA class, and after a netstat on my own computer, I find a ton of open UDP ports. In my CompTIA class, essentially what they're telling is open UDP = bad. Is my computer vulnerable, or am I just paranoid?

It means you have a service listening on those ports. Likely NETBIOS which is part of WINS iirc

Unless those ports are open on your router or you have an infected host on your network attacking those ports then you're fine.

As long as your router’s firewall doesn’t have all ports open and you have a decent firewall on your own computer (the built into Windows is fine), you should be good.
