Preface: I haven't built a rig in awhile, and this is my first RGB specific build. I have asked a few times in different parts of the form for different help and got some good and some not so good tips.

But I am super struggling on getting everything connected.

Few things

1. There is a 8 pin and 4 pin connection on the motherboard at the top left but I only have 8 pin CPU connectors from PSU. I read the 4 pin is really only needed if overclocking which isnt a care for me atm.

2. I have a few RGB devices and cannot figure how to get them all connected
- AMD Wraith is connected to v12 rgb on the mobo by itself.
- Three front fans, so many cords WTH do I do with them all. I think they are v5
- RGB Card holder is v5 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PYR46CL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
- PSU has a V5 plug but looks like it requires direct connection to mobo that only has 1 v5 input. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WM1XBFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

- Phantek starter kit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C1HQYR7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Anyone got this case, if you got the phantek starter kit a plus.

Just looking for tips, tricks, pictures, to get this thing fully connected.

Thanks.

the rgb fans that come with the case should go into the RGB hub, which then goes to the motherboard. If the headers are standard then the psu rgb should also be able to interface with the rgb hub. If not then you will have to find a separate hub that can handle both the psu rgb and the fan rgb.

12v section:

so your mb has 2 12v 4pin conettors 1 top right and other bottem right.

so your wrath witch is 12v go to one of thows most likely the top right one.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5v section:

then since you only have 1 5v argb header you need a spliter... ( 5v argb header above your 24 pin.)

your strips have an argb 5v 3pin (2+1) to mb.(aka you need a splitter)

the thermaltake psu i don't no how that connects usb? or might have its own controller in side? oh looks like it has an argb 5v 3pin (2+1) to the mb. (aka to the slitter)

i don't no what your fans are so cant help there...

so i don't no what your fans are so cant helo there so you need an spliter for the argb 2+1 pin (as you only have 1 mb header) KEEP IN MIND YOU CAN ONLY DO UP TO 3AMPS ON THAT 1 MB HEADER!!!!

if you don't no how many amps you got its better to be safe and buy a powered splitter imo

sata 5v argb hub

Lamptron SP103 SYNC 10-Way 12V 4pin RGB Hub, Compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light

Lamptron SP101 10-Way 5V Digital Addressable RGB Hub (Black)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MB power section:

ya the mb need's just the 8pin or 8pin and 4 pin

I'm into it sort of. It's on my keyboard and mouse and on the motherboard too.

But I generally pick a steady color or just let it do the demo cycle.

i was locally. i have 5 of each color of gc buttons and 1 of each color for nes and snes buttons, and i have 6 gambecubes and 30sfc and 30 jpanes nc64 that i was going to mod them to take north cartridges but then i took them all a part to clean and it got really really boring so is slow going, 50 snes controllers like 10 nes controllers and like 50ish n64 controllers. also have like 20 gc wave birds that i was going to mod to take the genaric wbirbaid shell with oem internals (still no dongles) thow are like $40 a peace... dam scalpers. the sfc snes mod for north games its tuff so don't no if ill keep doing them but the n64 is eazy just take the top of and the cartage slot thing and dremal out the tabs. the sfc you have to make the slot bigger as the north game wont fit. also replaced the n64 joysticks with the gc ones.

Thrasher, thanks for you feedback.
Do you or have had this case?

I am having issue finding a fan splitter so I can plug them into one spot on the motherboard. These only have 3 pin input and all the splitters I have are 4 pins. Am I doing something wrong?

man i dont no what case you have or fans....

are we talking about the Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case case?

that fan should have 2 cables off of it one for argb and other form the fan 4pin pwm. the 4pin pwm connector just connects to your mb headers.

im guessing your using the fans that cane with it 3 argb 5v fans am i right? normaly the case will come with a splitter to hook all 3 fans together. and one way to controll it uising the case controller or from the mb.

i need to no what connector the fan has.witch one dose it look like ? im gusting the one on the right called jst-sm connector. the one on the left is the stranded 3pin argb connector also called 2+1 connector. since you have an phatehks rgb hub i would thing you can plug the fans in to that?

this is the 4pin pwm fan header. plug your fan in to one on the mb. you should have a few of thees on your mb

this is the male 4pin pwm fan connector
