Hi guys first time posting.

Just wondering about something that happens to my PC every time I try and use the TPU/AI Suite III to automatically overclock my computer.

Windows crashed and I get a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR and it then restarts. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this.

Specs:

i5 4670K

Asus z87PRO

XFX r9 290

16GB Corsair DDR3

Thanks

That is a hardware error from a quick google search what cooler are you using to overclock? and manually overclock it through the BIOS and try if the cooling is sufficient.

I'm using a H90 so the cooling should be very sufficient. This is my first time OCing and I thought I would just do it the easy way... Oh well time to watch some more youtube.

Please post your minidump file

  • Upload the dump files from C:\Windows\Minidump in a compressed archive (.zip etc) to the forum using the "Attach Files" button under the editor. This allows us to read the error messages and diagnose the problem effectively and quickly.
  • If you can't boot into windows, download a linux live usb such as ubuntu (instructions on putting it on a live USB here) and try to get the files

Says who? Those instructions came straight from this thread: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/40334-read-before-asking-for-help/

When I upload it says I am not allowed to upload that file...

It was a zip file right?

change the extension so that you can upload it.  The downloader can then change it back.

Ex.  Rather than test.zip make it test.zip.remove  This might allow you to get around the file upload validation.

Other spare hypervisors: Dell Poweredge 2950, HP Proliant DL380 G5

It was a longshot.  Sometimes if the writer of the site didn't think to validate for something like that, it might have worked.  Try just giving a link to google drive or dropbox.
