Is RX460 4GB Good For Ryzen 5 2600 ?

I Want To Upgrade my PC Next Year And I Want To Save Money As Possible, Because In IDR everything is Expensive, You Can See My Current PC at Signature Below, So I Have That Graphic Card And I Want To Upgrade CPU,MB,RAM is RX 460 Any good for my New Ryzen 5 ?

depends on your budget really, but just to clarify, which component are you going to upgrade first?

Don't buy a 2600. Too expensive for what it is. Buy the ryzen 3100. 

 

As far as the rx 460 goes, in my opinion, it is not enough. I would go for something with at minimum Gtx 1060 6gb / rx 580 performance to match that cpu. 

 

If you can't afford that, I would try the used market in your area and go for anything like a gtx 770, 960, 1050ti, etc.

I Know I Want To Buy Ryzen 3rd Gen But If The MB BIOS is Not Supported My Dad just like "Why You Buy This Series And Not Buy 2nd Series" And When I Say AMD can Give Old CPU for Installing BIOS my dad Just Like wont trust it

well guessing from your currency i guess you are located in the same country as i do, would suggest you to wait for the ryzen 3 3100 as suggested by @jtmoseley

Wait until b550 releases then. It will support the 3rd gen series out of the box.

 

Alternatively, you could always call the seller and ask if the board has an updated bios. From what I know, manufacturers and sellers are working through the stock and updating the bios as they are sold. You have a good chance of getting a motherboard with an updated bios if it is brand new.

 

Another option is that if you have any computer stores near you, such as a computer repair store, odds are that they have an extra CPU on hand that they can use to update the bios for cheap.

most store's are closed in a couple of province's due to the current situation on our country

You don't have to have lunch with them. It's just handing off a motherboard. You can stay 20 feet apart. Or even mail it to them.

 

ALSO I'm positive that if you posted on reddit.com/r/hardwareswap and offered 5 dollars to anyone who updated the motherboard bios, someone would do it. Provided you covered shipping.

found out my friend has Athlon PRO 300GE so i can use that , i will force my friend to give it to me
