Looking for power supply recomendations

Jared_1

Hello, I just rebuilt my computer with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and an MSI Radeon RX 5600 XT Mech OC graphics card. I reused my case, PSU and storage to save money. However, I've been having an issue with the computer turning off abruptly during gaming and it won't turn back on unless I unplug the power supply and press the power button to drain the capacitors, then will the computer restart. The power supply is an Antec EA-500 500 watt PSU. In the course of troubleshooting, it was suggested I run the GPU off my 500 watt Antec while I run the rest of my computer off a different power supply and see if the problem happens.

That has gone well and I haven't had any issues with the dual power supplies so it looks like I need a new power supply. Unfortunately, the other power supply I have is only 450 watts and only has a 6 pin PCIe whilst the graphics card needs an 8 pin. So it looks like I'm in the market for a new PSU. It worked fine on my old setup but my old setup had an AMD x4 845 and a GTX 750 TI so not much power use there. I got this PSU on Ebay a year ago for a different project and eventually swapped it into my main rig since it has 2 x 8 pin PCIe power so I don't know what it's past life was like.

What would be a good PSU? I'd prefer it to be at somewhat modular at the least.
