Cable choices

Hi folks 

Thanks to the great advice I got of some members from this forum I currently have an Asus VG27AQ on order.

My problem now lies in deciding how to connect it to my PC.

To run this monitor at 1440p @ 165hz what cable should i use?

I was going to buy a Display port cable but was unsure since I haven't had to deal with a 165hz monitor before and the specs say it only has DP1.2 on the back not 1.4

You just need HBR2, or DP1.2 in order to get 1440p165.

 

Whichever cables came with the monitor should be enough to drive it at the required hertz.
