Hey,

i dont know if anybody has / had the same issues, but i give it a shot here.

We run a network with a host, vDC and thin clients, the time from the VM´s sync up with the host but the time on the actual pc´s ( hp thin clients) are running 2 minutes behind.

Anybody got some tips?

Alex

I recommend setting all devices to sync with an Internal NTP server if you can. Many routers have a tickbox for running an NTP server that everything on your network can be pointed to.

Time syncing is actually a pretty complicated procedure, subject to network latency, so keeping variables to a minimum helps a lot. Having your local devices sync with the router (or a single local NTP server with essentially <1ms connection latency) is going to help keep things sync'd up nicely. :)

what oses?

Are they all setup to sync to a ntp server?

Windows Server 2016, linux on thin clients, Windows 10 on VMs with VMware

All times were synced up to an internal ntp but the thin clients ( linux os) are running behind as mentionend for 2 minutes.
