Hello everyone, 

 

I want to build a mITX gaming PC and this requires of course components. I want to game on high setting in a small form factor and have a quiet system in addition to this it needs to be futureproof these are the components I have selected up until now see all the components at this link; http://tweakers.net/gallery/547915#tab:wenslijst

 

Processor;

- Intel i5 4670k

 

Processor Cooling Unit

- Cooler Master Seidon 120 V

 

Videocard

- Gigabyte GVR928XOC-3GD-GA

- MSI Radeon R9 280X GAMING 3G

 

HDD

- Seagate Barracuda 7200. 14 ST1000DM003, 1TB.

 

PSU

- Seasonic M12II 620W.

 

SSD

- Crucial 2.5'' M500 120GB 

 

RAM

- Crucial Ballistix Tactical BLT2C4G3D1608ET3LX0CEU

 

Motherboard

- Asus Z87i-PRO

Case 

- Fractal Design Node 304.

 

I have listed some components twice because I still do not know which I should choose. Therefore advice is very much appreciated.

If you have other recommendations I most certainly would like to know them,

There is no such thing as futureproof...

The Seidon will probably be the loudest component in there. I would much rather go with air cooling in a node 304.

 

 I would go for the MSI GPU as well because the Gigabyte card might be choked due to the grill not going all the way across. Both are great super quiet and cool GPUs. 

 

And are you sure you want to OC your CPU? CPU OC is something i've noticed a lot of people don't actually end up doing because it's not as easy as just OCing your GPU.

Thank you all for your comments, So whether I choose the Gigabyte or the MSI I will get roughly the same results, And for Mobo the Asus (but why?) and when a consider OC'ing as a must is the Mugen 4 pcgh edition a good alternative for the Seidon 120 V?
