Looking for a new router

Hi everyone,

 

I'm looking for a new router for my home since our wifi is starting to get really slow. The problem is, I don't know what to check for a router. Do you guys have suggestion for a under 200$ router ?

 

If someone can point me out to a guide of how to choose your router, it would be perfect !

1. What wireless router do you use now?
2. Where is your modem located in the house? Can it be moved to a more central location?
3. What speeds are you promised from your ISP?
4. What’s the size of your home in square feet? Is it a single level home or multi-level? If multi-level, does the wireless signal need to reach all floors?
