Posted February 22, 2014 Hello. Is there anyway to have Windows automatically mute the line-in channel unless it detects a proper signal? I have my games console audio going through the Line-In and when the console is powered off I get this horrible hiss coming through. I want to find an automated way off muting/disabling the line-in channel when the console is powered off. Any ideas? Chris. You guys are crazy. You know you guys are self-destructive. There's a funny farm somewhere and it's got your names written all over it. But I'm gettin' outta here.
