You can't upgrade the ram to ddr4. Is physically different from ddr2 and ddr2 is all this machine supports.
You should be able to add a sata ssd but it will run at slower speeds due to it having sata 2 ports and not sata 3.
What would you like to acomplish with these upgrades? This machine even maxed out is basically just a web browsing/ basic tasks machine
