Don't know about the most but those that I remember are Alice: Madness returns- very good platformer with an interesting story.

Dishonored- decent gameplay interesting story.

Saint's row The third- hilarious game.

Borderlands 2 Co-op.

Portal 2

Mass effect X.

BF3, BF4, TES 3-5, Payday 2, Minecraft (sometimes). Also all AC games are fun (haven't played 4), Splinter Cell franchise is good too. Titanfall looks cool, tough I haven't played it and The Forest alpha is coming soon too. There you go, a lot of genres too choose from.

These are all AAA titles that I HIGHLY recommend and honestly I don't think anyone should miss out on them. I can not stress enough how good these games are......

 

Fallout 3

Fallout New Vegas

The Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim
The Walking Dead (season one and two) 

Other AAA games that I enjoy....

 

Bioshock Series (Fantastic sigleplayer shooters, that tell amazing storys)

Borderlands series (Really great coop RPG shooters)
Dead Space series (great singleplayer horror games that also tell good stories)
Mortal Kombat (best fighting game in my opinion, one of my favorite series of all time)
Sid Meier's Civilization V (great strategy game) 

Indie games that are really good and should't be passed on....

EDIT: I would avoid Call of Duty and Battlefield, and I didn't think Payday 2 was anything special....
