CPU issues

So, while I was browsing the bios on my Asus x470-f Mobo, I accidentally hit the ai tuner and now no matter what I try I can't seem to get my ryzen 5 3600 to boost properly anymore, it's just stuck at 3.58. I even tried giving it ye old cmos clear but to no avail

Reset your BIOS, you can do this by turning off your PSU then taking out the round battery on your motherboard then waiting ~10 minutes. Then put the battery back in and power it up and your BIOS should be reset.

Ohhhhh, I'm supposed to wait 10 minutes? I was only waiting about 4, sure I'll try that in the morning. Really wish there was a thing to click in the bios or a button to do this type of stuff

This should be the absolute standard on higher end motherboards. A physical bios reset button. How on earth no manufacturer manage to figure this out is beyond me.

Given how often I need to clear the cmos, I would happily swap my current board for one with a actual button if one existed

Well dang, I've been all over asus's website, never saw one that had one,but I have been known to be borderline blind to things that are front and center, this one isn't even too expensive, maybe I'll pick this up when I get a rx 5700 later this year

Actually, wait, given where the button is, how would you even hit it?

It's on the IO shield so it's just on the back of the motherboard along side the rest of your ports. And not just Asus makes boards with Clear CMOS buttons, a not so expensive board like the B450 Tomahawk Max has it.
