Hi, I am a first time builder and I am trying to power my GPU (2070 Super)

It has a 6 pin and 8 pin power connector.

Am I supposed to use 2 separate PCI-E connector cables to connect 1 to the 8pin and 1 to the 6pin?

Or am I supposed to use 1 cable that has the chain loop to connect both the 8 and 6 pin with 1 cable?

Helppppp.

2 separate MIGHT be slightly better, shouldn't really matter though.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

so would you recommend 1 or 2 cable?

might as well use 2 if it's an option
