raspberry pi Project Ideas for Pi 4 (2 or 4GB version)

Hey LTT community,

 

I'm interested in buying a Raspberry Pi 4 (4gb version), but I'm stuck coming up with project ideas.

 

It goes without saying that a pi 4 with extra ram will work great for a cheap, low power Linux desktop and a Kodi player.

But I'm drawing a blank for anything else.

 

Any other cool project ideas that can utilize the extra ram?

Make a Steamlink machine! We actually have a video coming up about doing just this! Install raspbian onto a SD card, open terminal and "Sudo apt install Steamlink" - boom, you can remote into your main machine from anywhere in your house and game. Great if you pair it up with an unused monitor or a TV away from your PC!
