I need help

I have an HDD and windows on it , i just bought an SSD and i want to install windows on the SSD and i dont know how to do that :)

easeUS todo backup will allow you to copy a drive to another drive. How big is the SSD, and how much space have you used up on your hard drive?

If you want to start fresh:

Download the installation creation tool from here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Point it to a USB

Shut down your computer and disconnect the HDD

Power on and it should boot from the USB, otherwise go into BIOS and set the USB to be the first boot device.

Go through the install prompts.

I would still unplugg it because Windows has been known to try and install bits on other drives during install.

After you do the install you can plug the drive back in, boot off the SSD install (set it to be primary boot priority in BIOS) and then use Disk Management to format the drive after.
