If you are going for a true VR experience, I don't think a $30 joystick will cut it, perhaps something like this? http://www.fspilotshop.com/saitek-pro-flight-yoke-system-p-1263.html

He asked for inexpensive, I gave a good stick that's inexpensive in my opinion. Maybe $150 for the one you suggested is what OP considers inexpensive but seeing as he didn't give a budget I thought the 3D pro was a reasonable suggestion.

what inexpensive solutions

If you want something that WILL break in 3-6 months.... Be my guest. But HOTAS and joysticks are the absolute dumbest things you could cheap out on, unless your arms and hands are made of silk and wafer thin mints.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Both are good. But seems i will probably be flying in a 325a the $150 would be more suited to the cockpit. I will probably get the SC exclusive one if it's cheap enough

I´v been thinking, ain´t Pedals better then a Throttle? at least for space Sims.

The Reason i think this is because i tried using mine (x52 non pro) and ...speeding up and down is going to look stupid, i can understand it working well with Normal Simulators where changing speed ain´t as crucial, don't know how it is in a combat sim´s, i never used mine in one. but in SPACE!? ill be wanking mine back and forth like mad and probably break it faster then it´s meant to last.

plus you have center the damn thing to reach 0 ms / 0 Km/s, with Pedals you just don't have to press either side and your still.
