Hi whoever looks at this My name is Makenzie and I am getting some new Hardware for my Pc I am upgrading my CPU and MOBO I would like to ask If I was to use the graphics on the CPU I want what is A Ryzen 3 3200G with Vega 8 graphics if I use the APU’S graphics and my GPU would they mix and get more FPS?

Also I want to know about My PSU without taking it out my brother has told me its a 550 watt PSU and with my GPU and APU I don’t know if the PC can handle it as I went to see what my wattage it on my GPU what is a GTX 760 and it said this...

GeForce GTX 760 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit. GeForce GTX 760 SLI - On your average system the card requires you to have a 700 Watt power supply unit

And this puzzled me as I am young and a bit of a newbie when It comes to computer parts and what they mean.

P.S my cpu at the moment is a Intel Celeron G3930 2.9GHz

1. No you can't combine the GTX760 and the Vega 8. You can however run them along side each other, e.g. for multiple displays.

2. 550W PSU is fine in general, but you should always get a good quailty PSU. What Model are you using?

3. Don't get a 3200G when you have a GTX760. You are better off with an R5 1600AF and continue using the 760.

You cant mix a APU and GPU, only run 2 of the same video cards in SLI, so getting a CPU with integrated graphics won't do any good. As for the rest, I'm not sure what you mean,

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

This is an over estimate, graphics card manufacturers have to do this to cover their bases. The 760 consumes about 160 to 180 watts by itself.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Your current 550w PSU should be plenty to run all of this hardware without issues. Hopefully the PSU model is at least of some quality or it might be wise to invest while new hardware is precious.

I have a GTX 760. And 770 as matter fact. The 760 is pretty easy going on the consumption.

If you where looking to upgrade the graphics for cheap, look for used GTX 970 and 980 4gb models. The ti ver. is 6GB vram. Would be good boost for your visuals cost effectively.

Also, before your installation of your boot drive to the new hardware, be sure to un-install Intel drivers all and remove them from the registry. If you cannot do this, your first post may result in a blue screen, which is yay no fun to try and repair. Your better off with a clean install. Just a heads up there.
