SetFSB help

PPL: ICS9DB803DGLF (Supermicro x8dtu-f)

I'm looking to overclock wish I could use setfsb but it isn't listed in ppls. Anyone know of overclocking software (similar to setfsb) that has this PPL?

No.... get the EVGA SR-2 instead. that board won't OC.

After trying the supermicro board under the ppls though not same it worked. I got from 2.13 Ghz to 2.2 Ghz not much but it is an OC.

How do I set SetFSB to auto apply overclock after restart?

I dont recall setfsb having a startup option. 

 

What processors are you using in the supermicro board anyways. I forgot to ask in your other thread.

Nice. Did you ever get more than 2.2ghz from them with SetFsB? 

Pretty neat you found a somewhat working PLL that's close to the number on your PLL chip on that board! Lucky!

Yes, very lucky however I maybe limited to 2.2 Ghz due to voltage. I have to find a way to adjust this or I won't be able to go any higher. Btw Validation... CPU-Z Validator.

Do you know of any voltage increase softwares? (Like Intel XTU.)

For whatever reason after installing Intel XTU my OC is consistent across reboots...

Ok but the proper one which I found on the ICS chip isn't listed in SetFSB.

I had read there's 2 IC PLL chips on the board. Is that true?

Yes, this may be for the separate chipsets 5500 and 5600 since it supports both.

This other PPL which is on the board is in SetFSB when I have time I will test this for further results.

Ok I'm just looking because I'm looking to use Vmware ESXi with my server board and would like to keep overclocking, if its not possible I may try to do a bios mod.
