Hey there,

I bought some cheap RGB fans for my case (2 to be exact) and they only have that weird molex both male and female plug.

I have a fan controller that came bundeled with my case and as i can se all plugs are 6 pin...idk that was very strange i really didnt know a fan coud use 6 pins but a rgb fan that is coming with bundled with case does really have 6 pin plug.

My question is simple,as my molex fans only light up for a second when turning on a pc is there a way to bridge them (some kind of adapter) to my case controler, its also accoustic thing because they are blowing as hell.

It is not an issu of controller, because i can control my case bundled RGB fan manually via reset button since i dont have a VDG plug on mobo, the problem is how to bridge two newly bought fans so they coud be plugged into the controller,i am uploading pics rn.

What fans, what case?

From just this it seems like you have pretty normal issue for cheap stuff. All connectors are more or less propitiatory. Meaning that they don't work together. Molex is dying connection only supplying power. It doesn't carry any data or stuff like that. 6pin is propitiatory connector which usually carries both RGB and normal fan stuff in order to be handled by specially made controller/remote. Standard fan connector is 3/4pin. Standard RGB connector is 3/4pin also, but in different pinout and physical size. See:

So one more newbie and i think obvious (in terms of answer) question, you cant cant that molex connector of a fan and rewire it to pin connector because it carrys no information?..

You can solder it, but molex has 12V,GND,GND,5V. 3pin fan connector is 12V,GND,RPM. These two can be used by same connector, though control can be bit difficult as motherboard software uses RPM wire to change voltage supplied. Another issue is that if you have LEDs on fan and only one power, lowering power supplied will also dim the LEDs (this was issue with early LED fans some 10 years ago).

There are adapters between molex and 3pin fan connector, and you could get knob controller to adjust voltages delivered. Might even find one connecting directly to molex. I wasn't that into PCs back when that was a thing, so I don't know if there were any. I started when you had 3pin fan knob controllers.
