QNAP BackUp, but how?

Weve got a NAS at home (QNAP TS-431X) and I already store all my photography stuff on there, as It's set up with 2 4TB WD drives, while one always replicates the other, so It's basically our vault. Now I'm planning to back up my moms business data, but she uses her laptop for that, so storing exclusively on the NAS is out as she would need to use data when on the go. I was thinking of a system, which would automatically back up the files in specific folders, once she is at home and connected to Wifi, however, I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I already installed HBS 3 on the NAS but I just can't seem to find a function which would do what I want.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Have you tried Veeam Endpoint? https://www.veeam.com/windows-endpoint-server-backup-free.html

It features file-level backup and allows schedule backups. so you could schedule a file-level backup job to your backup NAS by selecting the required folders to backup.
