my ram is rated for 2666 mhz and i think thats a bit slow for my ryzen 5 2600, so how far can i turn up my speed and also i need help with timings, because in the bios, theres my first 5 timings, (16-18-18-18-38) but then theres like 50 other things. i need to know if they matter or only the first 5 do. Because i want to tweak my timings and speed to the best performance and stability.

There is a ryzen ram calculator that does a decent job of giving you a ballpark to start at for settings.

Does your ram have an XMP profile? That's the easiest way to get a stable overclock on RAM.

yeah it sets it to 2666, i want it to go further than that, i have to overclock manually for that but im not sure how far i can go.

How far depends on the chips. Just step up a notch at a time. You can increase voltage to help stability.

Generally higher clocks means looser timings and more voltage.

From what I've read, accepted voltage seems to be 1.5V max, but 1.35 or lower recommended.

Dial in clocks/voltage then refine timings. Test performance during, some people have better performance with better timings and lower clocks than higher clocks and slower timings
