No, that's not how it works. You don't suddenly take information across the slowest path and it's suddenly faster because the end computer has a faster connection. If your internet speed is X and you pay for X then you're only going to get X

It depends on what you are trying to do. I had to use a rented mac from macincloud for my swift classes, since i didn't want to buy a macbook. it was dreadfully slow, laggy, and I could never get the audio to work well.

 

No if you don't need fast response and snappiness, but you need to do heavy calculations, I am sure there are servces that could do that.

Your ISP is the bottleneck. They have the big switch which decides how much bandwidth they allocate to your account. And ofc the actual connection method. Be it copper, mobile or satellite.
