I am very new at building pc, and I am getting a hard time to chose all the parts.

so my  2 Questions are:

I have like 1600/1650 US to Build a pc, should I get Getting a RTx 2070 Super or a RTX 2080 Super?

My second Question is:

I have seen a loot of GTX 2070/2080 so is eny diference between all the brands?

for  example I am planing to get  https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RqkgXL/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2080-super-8-gb-video-card-900-1g180-2540-000

But there are more expensive and cheeper 2080, so  do you recomend getting the nvidia 2080 super  as the link above?

Thats the FE, or founders edition which is the stock card by the maker, It isnt a very good card being honest, cooling wise and clock speed wise. I would reccomened this instead:https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Windforce-Gv-N208SGAMING-OC-8GC-REV2-0/dp/B07ZK765CT/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=2080S+gigabyte&qid=1588377345&s=electronics&sr=1-1

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

first its not GTX, its RTX. you will get circlejerked in someplaces if you say that lol

not really. it depends on what the brands quality and reviews for that product are. pretty much, any 2080 super can clock to like 1800 mhz give or take.

do not get the nvidia flagship cards. aftermarket (cards made not by the GPU brand but other brands) are frequently better.

stuff is cool. stuff that has fancy lighting is cooler. stuff that has fancy lighting and works is the coolest.

i game so i know a bit abt gaming tech, not much abt professional tech.

writing this as i finish a 3 hour D2 sesh so excuse anything wrong.

2070 Super is basically a 2080. You can think it as a half gen 'refresh', although they are based on the same die and same architecture. Even for the same GPU, price can differ a lot between brands/clock speed/RGB, etc. In my opinion, there is not much point getting a 'overclocked' edition and pay the price premium. For example, if RTX2070 won't work for your game at the settings/resolution you want, then most likely a overclocked RTX2070 won't do it either. What you should do is save up some money for a RTX 2070 Super or RTX2080 rather than paying the extra for the 5-8% performance increase by overclocking.
