Budget PC. 1st Build ][_ {()} ][_

Hello all. I'm thinking of building a gaming pc but as it is my first time doing this, I would like some advise on what parts I DID and DID NOT picked wisely. I am a little bit insecure about the motherboard(with what model should i go best?) and also the memory, what should I go for ? also my case fans, should I buy another ones(if yes, what would be the best budget ones) or keep the ones that come with the case?

Bellow are all the details and a link to my build at this moment.

1. Budget & Location

-/+ 2000 euro. Location:Romanian -> Budget  MAX 10.000 RON (Romanian Leu - currency)

2. Aim

Only for gaming: BF1, BF5, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Black desert online, Anthem, Mass Effect Andromeda and many other present games.

3. Monitors

How many monitors do you plan on running?

Just one and it will be 144hz 1080p (as in my list below)

4. Peripherals

Do you also need to purchase peripherals such as keyboards and mice as well as monitors ect.?

Mouse (inlcuded in the list)

Also please tell us if you'll need an OS such as Windows.

I already got Licensed Windows 10.

5. Why are you upgrading?

We ask this because you may see upgrading as the only path to solve an issue but things such as driver updates, reconfiguration or cleaning can boost performance without spending a cent.

Tired of playing my beloved games in 10 fps at LOW settings.

Absolutely wrong storage choices first off.  250GB SSD should run you less than $50.  Same with a 2TB 7200RPM HDD, can snag one for like $5-10 more.

Otherwise not bad.

looks like a really solid build. Good PSU, fast GPU, but the motherboard is unfortunately not great. An Asus X570-P is often a quiet cheap, good choice. The 970 evo is often quite expensive for a gaming PC, you'd get the same experience out of a Sabrent Rocket, intel 660p, Crucial P1, MX500, Adata SX, or other cheap M.2 drives.

you may also find the non-i version of the case cheaper, which is preferable because the only difference is the smart device, which is for fan control. Your motherboard will already do fan control.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Hey, if you're playing at 1080p, you might want to get the 2070 super. It will still do 1080p 144hz, but it will be a lot cheaper.

@jstudrawa, I will reconsider the storage, thanks

@Fasauceome I will consider the storage. The cheapest ASUS PRIME X570-P around here is about 220 euros. Do you have another suggestion or does it worth the extra +70euro (as the one in my build is around 150 euros here)?

@DobertRownySr I understand and thanks for the advice but I will go with the 2080 super :D

Unfortunately MSI makes the worst X570 budget boards (which will change when the tomahawk comes out but still)

Gigabyte and ASRock have some decent options in the very cheap range.

unfortunately, can't get romanian prices on pcpartpicker but german prices are usually good to go on for euros

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#c=138&sort=price&m=7,8,18

When it comes to the cheapest of the cheap, select among these boards. They are not impressive, but they are good. MSI's main problem is a hot VRM which reduces CPU performance, you won't be facing that with these boards.
