Hello, all. I'm looking for a new mouse, and I'd appreciate it if you could help me out. For the last two years, I've been using a wired gaming mouse that was included in a promotion when I bought a CyberPower PC. My only significant issue with it is that YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE RGB. It just cycles through rainbow breathing style. I mitigate this by putting something over it when I'm watching something, but I've decided it's time for a proper solution. As long as I'm buying a mouse, I figure I may as well get one that I will be happy with in all situations. So, I'd like one with software-controlled RGB, wired/wireless interchangeability, and one that performs near the top of the line in different game genres. I only really play Rocket League right now, but in the future I plan on getting at least one FPS, racing game, and maybe a MOBA.  Now, I have a Logitech G910 keyboard, and I love it, so I was thinking about getting the G903 HERO so I wouldn't need additional software running in the background, but a lot of reviews seem to mention issues appearing sooner or later with the left click, and I don't want to spend $150 on a mouse that I'll have to be addressing issues with the manufacturer all the time. So, I was looking at the Razer - Viper Ultimate. It has all the features I think I want, and it is more highly reviewed than the G903 at the same price. Has anyone used the Viper Ultimate? What are your thoughts on it? I have large hands and don't have a preference for right-hand vs ambidextrous. Are the optical switches on this as high-quality as they claim, or would I run into trouble with those? I'm willing to spend the money to get a top-quality mouse, but in the end, I don't want to be disappointed in a $150 product. Thank you for any insight.

the viper ultimate is one of the best gaming mouse out their, and yes its sensor is very much top of the line. mice sensors are so good these day's and most of them wont have issues.

i would recommend you to check you rocketjumpninja as he has done multiple reviews on hundreds of mice
