New Chair

Coopermar

I have been looking for a new chair for quite a while now. I have looked at everything from used herman millers and steelcases to amazonbasics leather chairs. I currently have a high back executive leather office chair from amazon and I like it. The durability is not great as the padding has degraded. I am looking at the Hyken right now. Do you think it will be an upgrade? I like the comfort of the chair I have right now. Will I be sacrificing comfort in getting a mesh chair? Also, has anyone had experience with the hyken? Let me know what you think. Thanks

I unfortunately can't afford an Aeron but I have sat in one and it's by far the most comfortable chair I've ever used, @geo3 and a few others would probably agree.

Yea I can't either. Craigslist could be an option but there's not many options and they're quite expensive. Also, the current situation means it's hard to find one. Do you think the hyken is good?

I don't know.  Looking at reviews, most people seem to be happy with theirs.  However, I'd take them with a pinch of salt because people can't compare how comfortable a better chair is if they haven't sat in one.  It'll probably be a decent chair but likely not as good as an Aeron.

You can't really ask for opinions on feel for a chair. You can ask about build quality, but beyond that it's too personal; their experience won't match yours.
