GPU Temps Rising.

I recently moved my PC to a new location, and since that move, the temps have risen 20 degrees celsius, I found it odd that my GPU temps rose but my CPU temps stayed exactly the same. I thought it might be an exhaust issue, but when I move a fan(not case fan) to help push the air away from the exhaust, the temps don't change.

What are temps now vs then?

The temps used to be 40 degrees celsius, and are now 54 degrees celsius.

40 is suspiciously low - probably was a misreading. 54 is more in line with a low end GPU on a decent cooler

It was very suspect, but I'm running a 1070Ti ROG STRIX with the very beefy cooler.

Well, the cooler is passive till about 60-65*C and load temps on a 1070 Ti should be much higher. 40*C is impossible.

I don't know what it was then but for weeks and every time I checked temps, I hit a solid 40.

If you're talking idles - that's meaningless. Idles change all the time.

Noted, I found it slightly worrying at the fact it rose 14 degrees celsius though.

Probably some background task running - maybe browser hardware acceleration. Tons of possible reasons
