Hi. I want to build a pc for a friend. She would only use it for internet surfing, backing up her phone and storing photos and some videos. No online gaming. It will have Windows on it. What are the parts so needed so i can build this for her? We r in NYC, Looking for low budget build but something definitely stable. Something that will just work consistently. Pls list the parts if possible, thx. No RGB or any special decorations really needed.

You could go for something like this, I've built a couple for family to use for office work, document creation, quickbooks, and basic web browsing. I usually just stick with the 240GB SSD as that's all they need for basic uses, but I added the 2TB standard HDD so she has plenty of storage space for pictures and such.

I originally did the build with a 8GB 2x4GB kit but with Windows taking up 2-3GB of memory and with the iGPU dedicating some of the memory as Vram it doesn't leave you with much usable. That's the only reason I did a 16GB kit. OP could definitely do a 2x4GB kit if they want to save a little extra.

I think that a computer build with these components should be great for these tasks and would be under your specified $500 or less budget:    https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Boomwebsearch/saved/xwrXbv
