Motherboard issue

There is a little chipped piece off my motherboard a screwdriver chipped the tracers from my cpu leading to the dim slot i would like to know what to use to put over the scratch people said clear nail polish or tape but idk and i don't want my board to short.

Did it actually chip the trace itself? That would almost certainly be an issue if it did. If your not using the RAM slots its going to, you should be ok tho.

 

And clear nail polish is non conductive and is a good thing to seal that up. Thats what is recommended (and I have used) when you liquid metal your delid CPU and have top mounted exposed component, thus many people have used it.
