Cant boot new system please help

Soveposen

I bought new mobo and cpu, now my system is not working. Random restarts and many different bsod.

System:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

Mobo: Asus ROG Strix b450-f gaming

ram: 16gb hyperx fury ddr4 2666 mhz

gpu: msi gtx 1060

2 hdd for storage and 1 sata ssd Samsung 250gb for boot.

so what happened is that I upgraded the rig with a new mobo and a new cpu. I installed all the parts, booted up, installed new chipset drivers and it worked or at least I thought so, went into csgo, was shot right in the face and it restarted. I noticed my ryzen 5 3600 was running extremely high temperatures sometimes 70 idle and jumping around 10-20 degrees Celsius. That can’t be right, so i went to bios, I already had the newest bios, but the mobo is default overclocking the cpu so I disabled the OC and afterwards I have bsod almost every time I boot.

i reinstalled win10 as I thought maybe the old intel and gigabyte drivers was messing it all up, but it didn’t help. I tried booting with only one ram block, tried both. Tried default bios settings again (with OC).

I am absolutely clueless what is going on. I’m afraid that it’s a hardware issue, but I can’t seem to figure out why it should be a hardware issue when it worked completely fine with the other Gigabyte mobo and i5 6500 cpu. I’m really sad as I was looking forward to the upgrade. I hope someone out there can help me out.

*While writing i formatted the ssd, disconnected the hdds and now I’m installing a completely clean windows from usb.

Ram in 2 and 4, docp not enabled as I maybe thought it was causing the bsod

Update @boggy77:

I think i solved the issue.

Disabled fast boot in BIOS and disabled fast boot in win10 settings. Clean installed with newest AMD chipset drivers and Nvidia driver. It seems to work, no BSOD and no repeat restarting pre-post.

How the hell can fast boot make such a mess?
