I play alot of FiveM.

But when I play, my CPU usage is around 50% usage, and my GPU around 60%
My ram uses around 65%, but I can't get 60 fps. Can anyone tell me why? I have a Ryzen 5 2600x, a RTX 2060 Super, and 16gb of Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz CL16. And yes, XMP is enabled.

If anyone can help me, yes please! I dont understand why I have low fps while my CPU and GPU barely use 50%.
Can CPU temps be a problem? Because my CPU can get as hot as 85C while gaming. I run the stock cooler.

Well that just sucks then. Are you sure that it's not my CPU temps? Like they kinda scare me..

Are you using Ryzen Master to monitor your temps? 85C is really toasty for just 50% usage, even with the stock cooler. Make sure you have ample airflow in your case and that ambient temps are in somewhat in check.

I would recommend getting something other than your stock cooler.

HOWEVER, your temperatures are NOT alarming yet.

And yes, I use ryzne master. At idle it runs at around 45 degrees.

if you think it's high then why don't you try lowering it with ryzen master and seeing what happens? the worst that can happen is you reboot because it's set too low

Well idk, im pretty new to pc building so im not the most educated person in the world. But what i can see in ryzen master, is that it is now at 1,4 cpu voltage, at idle.

the best way to learn is to play around with it, speaking from experience. it gives you a good understanding of how the system works together and how it might react to you doing various things without you having to test it

I changed my profile to Game Mode and now my voltage is at 1,1875

see how that works out for you, but the real gains are to be found in adjusting parameters yourself. i don't think the mode matters much, just pick one out and fiddle with it

I did a quick 5 min p95 test, and the max it hit was 82c. That's not that bad right?

it's an improvement. you're not going to see a massive benefit while you're still on that cooler though. see my earlier comment about finding an ebay wraith prism

Well problem is im from The Netherlands, so ebay is not really a thing here. What is your opinion of Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo? Maybe i could buy that

120mm tower cooler, should provide adequate performance. the 2 fans is a bit of a gimmick. i use a nh-u12s which is very similar in design to this on my 3600 and it keeps it at about 75c under avx workload at 4.2g 1.2975v

Well what's a cooler you recommend me?

as long as it fits am4 that one you mentioned would be fine, the prism rgb is a good budget option (even if you don't have ebay as a big thing there will likely be a few on whatecer second hand sites you have in NL). if you can swing for the higher price ranges the U12S is about one of the best 120mm coolers on the market but ultimately will only be a few degrees different between that and it's competition.

ultimately, anything below 95c is a safe temperature for ryzen, below 85c is considered the de-facto acceptable range, so 70-75c is perfectly ok, that's what my cpu folidng machine runs at

The max today was 89degrees while playing fivem. So that's safe?
