Past couple of months been planning to upgrade. CPU, Mobo and ram. From AM3 to AM4

Cpu? 3600.

Ram? G.Skill RipJaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin SDRAM PC4-28800 DDR4 3600 CL16-19-19-39 1.35V Dual Channel Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-16GVKC

 

However motherboard has been a real struggle and I think I have a good choice... but it's been years since I last did a hardware upgrade.

 

MSI Performance Gaming AMD Ryzen 2ND and 3rd Gen AM4 M.2 USB 3 DDR4 DVI HDMI Crossfire ATX Motherboard (B450 Gaming Plus Max) from Amazon.

 

Chose the ram and mobo after I learned how much Ryzen depends on ram speed.

 

FYI: Upgrading from FX-4350 Quadcore, 1866 Ripjaw V, Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 R2. So I'll be upgrading from SATA & PciE 2.0 to 3.0 on top of everything else.
