If i get a hadron air couldn't i just cut out their proprietary cpu thingy and just use a regular motherboard?

What are you talking about? 

The Hadron Air comes with a proprietary Power Supply. You can't buy it without the PSU (which makes the case costly).

You could put another PSU, but it's going to require quite some modding. 

 

 

What? you should be able to use any mitx MOBO.

No the Hadron Air only supports EVGA motherboards

It supports all motherboards on the market.

I don't think you should be able to fit watercooling (only reason I see why you need a cutout and I don't know of any low profile coolers that have backplates).

I was going to but i don't really care you can get them on Newegg for $139 and i wouldn't have to have an open box
