I have been looking for a new chair for quite a while. I have been using the AmazonBasics leather office chair for the last few years but it deteriorates very quickly. I would like to keep it under $200, $300 is okay aswell. I looked at the ErgoChair2 because JayzTwoCentz recommended it. When I looked into it, they're basically just a reseller and mark it up a lot. Do you have any suggestions? I don't really want to go for the racing chairs because I don't think they're great for long-term use. Thanks.

Useful info in looking for furniture:

Bonded leather is not leather.  It’s not even close to leather.  It’s vinyl with leather dust in it. Even worse than regular vinyl.  They’ll charge 3 times as much for it though hoping you’ll be fooled.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Save up an extra few hundred and get something like an open box Herman Miller. A chair is something you should invest a decent amount in if you spend a great deal of time in it. Otherwise, grab something from Staples; they have a chair that often goes on sale for about $75 that's great quality.

Yea I've heard they're really good chairs. I think it might be difficult to get one right now because of the stay at home stuff. Also, I've always liked high-back chairs more, never had one with a headrest but I think that would be nice, and the Aeron seems to be a bit short. I like the comfort of the leather but the airflow of the mesh. What do you think?

Steelcase is a brand you should have a look at 😊
