I think I posted some models of the cross section before, I think those would show very well how much space I'm working with. On top of the gpu anything >10mm won't work so if I were to add a fan where the vent is it would have to be a 60mm fan, which noctua does not make in a 10mm thickness (or at all, iirc. They only do 40mm and 80+mm)

Do you have a final before-it's-closed-up picture of the internals? I'm not 100% picturing where space is available with everything in.

 

Noctua does make 60mm fans but they're only in the 25mm thick variety so probably too chonky for your project unfortunately.
