Looking to upgrade!

So im looking to upgrade a few parts of my system, mainly just the CPU and the motherboard.

 

As for the budget im looking to spend like 700 bucks or so and i plan on selling my old parts as well to make up for some of the cost.

 

My current build: 

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700k

Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Memory: 4x8 GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3200

Storage: SAMSUNG SM951 128GB M.2

Seagate BarraCuda ST3000DM008 3TB 7200 RPM

Kingston Digital 480GB SSDNow V300 SATA Solid State Drive

Video Card: EVGA 1070 SC Gaming ACX 3.0

Power supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650 W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Case: NZXT 530 Full tower

Cooler: Corsair H100i v2

 

As for my hopes of upgrades I have been thinking about moving from intel over to AMD, mainly for price reasons. I usemy PC mostly for Twitch, playing a few games (The most intensive being Bannerlord and Project Cars 2). 

As for the mother board I am mostly looking for another m.2 slot and getting something about 1tb or so to put my games and a few other things on it. Other than that im not really looking to upgrade much else unless someone has any good recommendations!

I'd wait a little longer for the new stuff to be out, and then buy something.

Likely a 4600, and some form of B550 motherboard.

Thanks! I did the same thing last time and didn't look to see when the next gen stuff was coming out. Missed out on getting an 8700 by like 1 month.
