Hello, today I was just updating my bios on a old mobo for a new build. I put in a rim stick and my cpu and when I started it up, something let out the blue smoke. It seemed to blow the bios and something else. I pulled the plug on my psu within a second or two but I think it sent wallpower through my mobo. So I put my cpu back in my pc but it didn't output to my display. I could be my monitor being wierd but I don't think it is. Could it of blown my cpu/ram or would protection circuitry blow before it reaches my cpu? Also troubleshooting tips would be helpful. Any help is appreciated! Ps my fans spin and rgb works.
