Hello there, hope everyone is safe and well during these strange times.

Over the past 4-5 months or so my PC has been crashing whilst playing some light games like minecraft and Assetto Corsa.

The crashes are irregular and can happen at any time. From gaming to booting up, on chrome or on Lightroom/Photoshop.

The crash I'm experiencing is quite odd. I can be playing Minecraft for 2 hours and it will crash or it will crash on booting up. I get no signal on my monitor, keyboard LED turns off as it has no power but my PC keeps running, the case fans and the CPU fans run at max RPM. The only way I can restart my PC after a crash is by turning off the power supply.

I used my PC without a GPU for 3 years instead I relied on my systems AMD A10 APU as what I'm doing is not that intense. Then at the end of 2019 the crashes started to occur, at first I thought I was putting to much load on the APU so I bought an AMD RX550 in the thought of it would takes less pressure off of my APU. But the crashes remain. So I invested in a decent CPU cooler (Cooler Master Hyper 312 Evo) as I thought that thermals may be an issue but again the crashing continues.

It would mean a lot if anyone is able to help me out. My PC specs are listed below as well as a video clip of me experiencing these issues.

OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit

PSU: 500W AeroCool integrator 500w

CPU: AMD A10 7850K

Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2

RAM: Hyper X Fury Red DDR3

GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX550 4gb

That's a pretty good indicator you are not getting enough power.

The crashing occurred 2 years after having my system, so could it possibly be the power supplies wattage has decreased over time?

The crashing started when I just had the Motherboard, RAM and CPU and HDD none of which are particularly power hungry, I thought a 500w PSU could easily handle those 4 components.

A good one can, but the PSU is failing, then anything goes. You can buy a kill-a-watt unit to test your PSU with, but they aren't cheap.

Look in your Event Viewer/Log and then the System subsection, and see if you have any Red X's (indicating a serious problem) see what they have to say, post a screenshot here, or describe the errors

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

The one highlighted is the time when my PC last crashed.

The bugCheck one and the ASpp Hang are very useful, please post screenshots of those

Ok, the BugCheck shows you a location of a crash dump file, please upload it here so I can analyze and see if we can gain more insight.

Oh holy cow, there are smaller ones called "mini dump" files.

Look here on locations:

https://www.pcworld.com/article/3103104/how-to-solve-windows-10-crashes-in-less-than-a-minute.html

That's all I need, are the mini dump ones. If you find many...errr..several of them, post all, it will be useful for troubleshooting.

And you are welcome, happy to help :)

A few things: ignore the fault bucket ID (I'm not running Win10) but in effect the client runtime service died, causing the issue.

And that is a messy problem to solve.

I'd start by updating ALL your drivers, and BIOS, and get back to me.

ok, let's start testing parts. We;'ll start with RAM.

Install this (https://www.memtest.org/) onto a USB stick, I use a program called Rufus, but there are many others to make bootable USB sticks

Run it until either errors start showing up, or it says completed (warning, this may take many hours)

Also, and I guess I should ask, are you Overclocking anything, or running XMP in the BIOS of your mobo?
