No, if you're getting a new motherboard as well, go Intel.

I dont think a cpu upgrade is needed here, nor a mobo upgrade either. You have a capable machine and i think the audio equipment and keyboard are just personal preference.

However I suggest an upgrade of the acer monitor because i have one of those and it is 1440x900 right?

Get your monitor setup to be same res and size. and maybe get a new gpu?

But the best performance gain i see is from an ssd, it doesn't boost fps but the pc itself would be faster

There are many things wrong with AMD, most of which is that AMD just simply is not as good as Intel on the performance scale.

keep being a fan boy ...

performance/cost ratio amd wins. and honestly any other day of the week i would have chosen 8350 rather then 4670k.

"no one should suggest/recommend amd" you may say there "significant wins" when really every day use you wont see a difference.

stop being a fan boy and suggest whats needed not what you prefer.

also, changing the cpu isnt going to increase frame rates much when 99% of the time the gpu is bottle necking, not the cpu.

Here this could be an upgrade for you, the ssd is optional and the cooler may depend on what you have already. Do you use the AMD stock cooler?

he already has a gtx 770, performs well enough as it is, the only thing he should be doing is grabbing a ssd (kudos for putting it in) and maybe a better cpu cooler

i dont suggest getting a audio card as you can just use the onboard audio from the back of the case

headset/mic is totally up to you and

just depends what you want, i would recommend a cpu cooler to start with then cpu/mobo. but if your computer is rrunning fine the dont bother upgrading cpu/mobo just save the money until your rig is starting to slow down

Don't want to start an AMD vs Intel battle here because I simply don't care. Your CPU is currently fine but if you need an upgrade, that's what I suggest.

SSD doesnt impact FPS.

CPU does impact FPS but only so much.

Mobo doesnt really impact but can restrain future upgrades.

GPU is what gives you the biggest FPS boosts.

Really I think you should get the link i sent.

Intel also provides a stock cooler too that is sufficient as long as you don't overclock, if you plan on doing so then a Hyper 212 is the way to go.

Like i said before you could exclude the SSD because it may not be useful to you.

But if you cant get that stuff then just upgrade the mobo on your current CPU so you can get sli support for later. You may be able to throw in another 770 and you will have much better performance.

You wanted more FPS did you not? GPU impacts most on FPS and I only suggested you get an SLI board so that when the need arises you could pop in another 770.

But I really want to know whether you actually have any performance problems in games, because a 770 is pretty high end for most games at 1080p.
