Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

(cuz that one says its just 324mm long, it's just wider i think)

"Just" 324mm long? Not sure what you expect out of a GPU, even the massive cards of the old days like the dual GPU 295x2 is 307mm long.

 

There's only so large you can make a graphics card before people can't put it inside a case anymore.

I know that's why i'm asking lol cuz most ATX case have a max of 325 long, but my boss is telling me "any video card I want tested better fit in the case you will buy because im not buying another one" :/

You could always get a bigger case (full towers especially), but long cards are also more vulnerable to sagging and there is a limit on how much stress the PCIe slot can take even if you add extra support to the card.
